Shearing Shed - Victoria

"It's beautifully made, it's strong and has a curved, raised board with four stands. We've got these sloping floors, 150mm from the back to the front so the sheep stand uphill facing away and the shearers drag down when grabbing sheep. There's timber flooring in the wool room that's softer for the rouseabouts, and the raised board stops them from bending over and hurting their backs. The shearers think the set-up is fantastic.”
